Our US-made, quality Mending Straight and Angle Plates are thick, strong, zinc-plated and available in three different types including one with staggered holes designed to reduce the possibility of wood splitting. All holes accept our self-tapping, Phillips screws. Use these plates on larger or older frames to strengthen and repair sections, corners or where recutting and re-joining the mitres is not practicable because of instability, age, resizing problems, etc. Also used for heavy-framed objects such as mirrors to add support to the corners.
